Sometimes situations present themselves where conventional vacuum pressure treated fire retardant is either not possible or not practical, yet is still being specified.
  
While these products are not intended to take the place of vacuum pressure treated materials, they offer very good flame spread properties that are a vastly superior option to leaving the wood simply not treated at all.
