Thermal Bridging

Moisture can cause major damage to a building’s structure and is often times due to thermal bridging. As moisture builds up between the interior and exterior of a building, it can cause the its wooden frame to rot and deteriorate, which may ultimately lead the frame to collapse. Because MgOut™ places a building’s insulation outside of the frame, condensation will be moved outside of the wall cavity, reducing the probability that moisture and mold damage will occur. In other words, the insulation eliminates thermal bridging and allows the insulation to work at its optimal point.
